Hello!
I’m Hope, an aspiring graphic designer and artist from Longview, Texas and located in Branson, Missouri. I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a BFA in Graphic Design, and I am experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite, branding, digital illustration, logo design, Procreate, and Canva. I also love other mediums, such as collage, mixed media, drawing, and printmaking. Feel free to make your way through my site to see my art! Now that you have learned about me as an artist, here are some things to know about me as a person! I have always been passionate about the special needs community, and I currently work at Barnabas Prep, a college program for adults with disabilities. I have also served for years at a summer camp for people of all ages with disabilities called Beloved and Beyond. I also love concerts, music festivals, camping, kayaking, long road trips, and hanging out with friends! Here are some images of places and things that are special to me.
Beloved & Beyond
I have had the privilege of working at Beloved & Beyond for two years now, and I have loved every moment! B&B is a camp that provides opportunities such as fun activities, job experience, interview skills, and much more for individuals with special needs. I have served in the kitchen, as a coach for our Beyond Team, and on the media team! Below are some photos that I have taken at camp, and there are some of me as well.
Concerts & Music Festivals
I love music, and I go to any concert or music festival that I can! Music inspires me, and it helps me to express myself. It would be my dream job to create all of the marketing and branding elements for a music festival, or I would also love to create merch or art for artists and their shows.
Camping & Road trips
I draw a lot of my creative inspiration from nature, and I love getting to experience it with friends. I would love to eventually work remotely so I can travel while I create and constantly be inspired by what is around me.
Barnabas Prep
Barnabas Prep is a college program for adults with disabilities. I currently work here as a Resident Life Coordinator, and I assist the students in daily life skills to help them grow in indenpendence, plan events, and live with the students. It has been such an honor to do life alongside these people, and I love my 12 house mates!
